If the routers are used to segment the network into multiple broadcast domains, then it may be an issue - each RS can only see the broadcast domain that is it connected to (this is an ethernet limitation, not a deficiency of the RS). If they are using the multiple routers to just expand their broadcast domain, then it should not be an issue.. and the upcoming firmware will be even better at dealing with this scenario..
